Monster Socks
Stomp around your room with Monster or Animal feet. Color your favorite type of feet on your socks and have fun!
1. Crayola® Fabric Crayon colors transfer best on fabric that is 100% polyester fabric or has a high polyester content.
2. Draw your favorite monster or animal feet design on white paper or draw your design directly on the fabric. Brush away crayon specks. Note: If you draw your design on paper first remember your design will be transferred in reverse.
3. Place fabric on ironing pad. To make an ironing pad, place white paper or newspaper over an iron-safe surface.
4. If you draw on paper first, lay design side down on fabric.
5. Cover design with white paper. If transferring to a shirt, dress, or other garment, place white paper between fabric layers to prevent transfer of color to the other side of the garment.
6. Ironing should be done by an adult in a well-ventilated area. Set iron on cotton. Press design with slow steady pressure for 1 to 2 minutes. Lift iron straight up while holding paper in place to prevent image from blurring.
7. Remove paper carefully.
8. Decorated fabrics can be machine washed, using warm or cold water and a gentle cycle. Do not place in dryer.
9. For more intense colors, apply the crayons directly to fabric and cover with white paper before ironing. Follow steps 5 through 8.
