Art Deco Retro Cards

Why

Create note cards with an Art Deco flair! Cool Crayola® Colored Pencils and Gel Markers do the trick!

Steps

1. In the Roaring Twenties, the cool sophistication of Art Deco was in fashion. Now they’re back! Art Deco designs are famous for their angular fan and diamond shapes and diagonal chevrons. Art Deco buildings home décor, and fashion often rely on mirrors, chrome, and crystal for stark contrast.

2. Use simple geometric shapes to show how cool (and retro) you are! Fold paper into cards. Outline your Art Deco designs with Crayola Colored Pencils. Use Crayola Gel Markers to fill in outlines and provide contrast.

3. Decorate envelopes to match. Write your retro greetings and you’re ready to send notes!
